Shell medium-sized, fusiform and sculptu�red with numerous beaded spiral cords. Spire moderately tall with channeled sutures. Aperture elongate-ovate and pinkish within, outer lip denticulate and pale brown. Parietal wall and columella glossy and strongly calloused. Color red-brown with white axial stripes. This species closely resemb�les the following species but differs by the smooth (not beaded) spiral cords and the outer lip is lighter colored.
