Shell large, solid, heavy and characterized by numerous strong nodules at the shoulders. Spire high with impressed sutures. Sculpture consists of many spiral ribs at spire whorls, weak or obsolete at body whorl. Axial ribs strong at early whorls, reducing to nodules at shoulders of later whorls. Aperture ovate and white, outer lip denticulate and lirate at inner margin. Parietal wall white and calloused, columella plicate. Siphonal canal long. Color cream white.
