DESCRIPTION
This large, spine-covered has a srtiking appearance. It is club-shaped, with acutely pointed apex, rounded whorls, deely impressed suture, and very long, straight siphonal canal. The body whorl has three varices bearing alternately long and short spines; longest spines point upward at shoulder. Spines continue down length of siphonal canal and protrude at right angles to is. Outer lip is corrugated; columella smooth. Thin spiral ribs cross weak vertical ribs. White or pinkish, with reddish brown soiral lines; aperture white.
