Underlined Fig Shell
DESCRIPTION
This thin but sturdy shell has a low spire and an aperture that runs almost the entire length of the body whorl. Thin vertical ridges crossed by fine, intermittently stronger spiral ridges produce lattice ornament. Columella and siphonal canal are sinuously curved. Exterior pinkish brown; four or five pale spiral bands offset with darker brown. Aperture whitish to violet to brown.
