Sunburst Carrier
DESCRIPTION
A low-spired shell with long, tubular, blunt-ended, and slightly upturned spines at periphery of all whorls; spines are pressed into succeeding whorls, except on outer body whorl. The upper surface has fine, obliquely sloping riblets; the underside is ornamented with strong, wavy, radiating ribs. Umbilicus is deep, revealing all whorls within it.Creamy, with early spines generally paler.
