DESCRIPTION
Shells Small and elongate, It is easily identified by numerous nodules, formed by 12 raised widely spaced axial ribs on the body worl and overriding spiral grooves. Spire high with costricted sutures. Aperture elongate, white and lirate within, outer lip thick with alternate red and white dots. Columella reddish and weakly calloused with three tofour oblique folds, base brown. Color white with red nodules. This species was named in honor of Mr Stainforth. Distribution: Vung Tau, Ninh Thuan, Quang Ngai, etc. Size: 30-55 mm
