Pacific Crown Conch
DESCRIPTION
The shorl, pointed spire of thick, heavy shell is dwarfed by the hugely inflated body whorl. Spire whorls are ornamented with row of blunt spines, which become obsolete on body whorl. Smooth columella is slightly curved. Chocolate-brown, with yellow spiral bands; aperture yellowish white.
