Ox-palate Nerite
DESCRIPTION
Almost flat-topped, thick, and heavy shell with a flattened body whorl. The suture is very shallow. The broad parietal shield is smooth except for irregular, sometimes square-edged, teeth. Pacific shield and aperture creamy, often with orange margin. The rest of the shell is pink or whitish, mottled with white, black, or red.
