Lister's Cowrie
DESCRIPTION
Shell small. glossy. solid and characterized by live cylindrical .shape and a flat base. Dorsum with transverse bandings, margins spotted with black spots. Base with strong labral teeth and finer olumellar teeth. Color, greenish gray at dorsum and cream-white at base. This species was named in honour of Dr M. Lister, a con-chologist of Britain.
