Lion�s Paw (brown)
DESCRIPTION
This thick, heavy shell is about as broad as it is high, and has one ear twice as long as the other. Each valve has from seven to nine large, broad ribs which incorporate large, hollow nodules. Strong radial riblets cover the shell and are crossed by thin, concentric ridges. Colors include dark or bright red, orange, and yellow.
