Shell medium-sized, fusiform elongate and easily distinguished by the stepped and tall spire with canaliculate sutures. Sculpture consists of strong axial ribs and thin overriding spiral lines. Aperture elongate-ovate and whitish, outer lip with many black denticles on the entire length. Parietal wall calloused and smooth, columella with three strong plaits. Color whitish with red-brown axial ribs and spiral lines. Operculum thick, dark brown, elongate, very small and not fitting the aperture. Distribution: Vung Tau, Khanh Hoa, Dai Lanh, Tuy Hoa, Quang Ngai, Cam Ranh, Ninh Thuan, etc. Size: 57-120mm
