Hemphrey's Cowrie
DESCRIPTION
A small, solid, elliptical shell with a convex base. Thickened and pitted margins are clearly separated from the sides. Teeth on each side are well developed, those on the columella side reaching about halfway to the margin. Lilac or pale blue, patterned with large brown spots coalesce towards margins. Base reddish brown; margins lilac at ends.
