Shell large to very large and wedge- spaped with a single tooth at the right valve. Sculpture consists of many concentric growth lines. Umbones long and anteriorly situated, inner margins smooth. Posterior adductor scar is large and separated into two parts while the anterior addutor scar is lacking. Color externally blackish- green with black margin , internally nacreous and whitish with green glaze.This species was named for the green color. Distribution: Khanh Hoa, Phan Ri, Phan Thiet, Can Gio, Phu Quoc Island,... Size: 50 – 110 mm.
