Grape Cowrie
DESCRIPTION
Shell small, elongate-ovate, characterized by red brown rostrate extremties and strong pustules on dorsum. Dorsal line present, base convex. Teeth strong, raised and entirely covering the base, interstitial teeth not reaching the aperture. Color ash-gray at dorsum and red¬dish at base. This species is named for its resemblance to the grapes.
