Glans Nassa
DESCRIPTION
The large, rounded body whorl of this glossy shell gives it a squat appearance. Outer lip is very thick; columella has a few folds and a broadly extended callus, thickest at base and top. Early whorls have vertical ridges; later whorls have faint spiral grooves with humps below the suture. Creamy or brownish, sometimes banded.
