Giant Sundial
DESCRIPTION
A solib shell with evenly expanding whorls and a deep suture. The spiral and vertical grooves on the whorls produce a lattice pattern. The ridge above and below the suture resembles a string of flattened beads. The outer edge of the base is encircled by two flat-topped ribs. Gray to yellowish brown, with alternating spiral bands of white and dark brown; edge of umbilicus spotted dark brown.
