DESCRIPTION
A solid shell with nearly straight-sided whorls, separated by a slightly channeled suture. Aperture of juveniles square; older examples more elliptical; columella gently curved. Later whorls have about 15 tubercles. Below tuber�cles, whorls constricted by spiral groove. Siphonal notch has reflected rim. Beige, with blotches of reddish brown and cream, with vertical streaks and spiral rows of dots
