Episcopal Cone
DESCRIPTION
Cone medium-sized, similar in appearance to Conus aulicus but much more slender and aperture is white (not orange). Spire low and domed at early post-nuclear whorls, sutures distinct. Shoulder slightly angula�te, teleconch sutural ramps slightly concave with weak spiral stria. Sculpture consists of fine spiral threads and several spiral ribs at base of the body whorl. Aperture white and widening anteriorly, outer lip thick and choco�late-brown. Color chocolate-brown with white, irregular triangles arranged into wavy axial bands.
