Cut Turritellas Shell
DESCRIPTION
Thin and light, this shell has rounded whorls, a well-impressed suture, and sharply pointed apex. Coarse spiral ridges are crossed by fine vertical lines and occasionally by more distinct, uneven growth ridges. Always reddish or yellowish brown, Except for columella, which is whitish.
