Shell medium-sized to large, readily recognized by the orange aperture, purple within with white lirae. Dorsal surface sculptured with numerous spiral threads and three spiral rows of knobs on the body whorl with the strongest knowbs situated at the first row. Six digitations are nodulose and flattened with the first four digitations shorter, curved posterriorly and the last two longer and rather straight. Color yellowish brown, columella and outer lip orange. Distribution: Vung Tau, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Con Son Island, etc. Size: 95-220 mm.
