Coromandel
DESCRIPTION
A thin but robust shell with a moderately raised spire and conspicuously swollen body whorl. Surface almost perfectly smooth and shiny, the only ornament being indistinct vertical striae. The apex is pointed or rounded; the suture is very shallow. Fine parietal teeth. Red, pink, black, yellow, usually arranged in both zigzags and bands.
