DESCRIPTION
Flattened, glossy, and smooth, the whorls of this small shell culminate in an acutely shouldered body whorl with a relatively small aperture. Suture is very shallow. Large, grayish callus plug smothers the umbilicus, giving shell an ungainly appearance seen from below. Brown, pink, white, or yellow ground color, superimposed with bands patterned with streaks, spots, or blotchess.
