Brown Crown Conch
DESCRIPTION
Sturdy shell with an inflated body whorl and a small, pointed spire seemingly sunk into the body whorl and surrounded by a deep suture. Smooth columella is slightly curved; its callus covers much of the adjacent body whorl. Two spiral rows of spines at shoulder of body whorl and another towards base. Chocolate-brown, with white spiral bands; aperture white.
