DESCRIPTION
Shell large to very large, heavy and characterized by an inflated, rounded body whorl. Spire high and acute with impressed sutures. Sculpture consists of many axial ribs at early whorls, subsutural flat and obsolete at later whorls. Aperture quardrate, outer lip thin. Columella white and curved. Siphonal fasciole strongly striate. Color yellowish with short, brown axial stripes, arranged into two spiral bands on the spire whorls. This species is the largest member of this family. Distribution: Khanh Hoa, Phan Rang, Phu Quy Island, Long Hai, Quang Ngai, etc. Size:5-25cm
