Asellus Cowrie
DESCRIPTION
Shell small, glossy, elongate-ovate in shape and readily distinguished by three black transverse bands on dorsum. Margins and base unspotted. Aperture narrow with strong labral teeth and long columellar teeth at posterior part. Color white (sometimes red) at dorsum and milky white at base.
