DESCRIPTION
Shell medium-sized, ovate and similar to Harpa major but differing in the large brown blotch at the parietal shield is not divided by a white band. Spire moderrately tall with sharp narrow axial ribs. Sculpture consisting of about 12 flattened axial ribs on the body whorl and many fine axial striae in the interspaces. Shoulder angulate and spinose, apex rounded. Aperture wide and brownish within, outer lip smooth. Parietal shield calloused with a dark brown blotch. Color brown with alternate yellow and dark brown spots on the axial ribs. Distribution: Vung Tau, Nha Trang, Phan Rang, Phan Thiet, Quang Ngai, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, etc. Size:5-11cm
